Abstract
In this paper, design and analysis of a 1:2N Wilkinson power divider for equal division operating at 2.45 GHz WLAN frequency is proposed. The power divider is intended to divide or split a microwave signal into the other array antennas. The power divider has been designed on FR4 substrate with relative permittivity of 4.4 and thickness of 1.6mm. The simulation results indicate that 1:2 gives half the input power at its output ports, 1:4 gives one fourth of the power to its output ports and similarly 1:8 provides one eighth of the input power at its output ports. All these analysis were carried out using AWR simulation tool. © 2017 IEEE.
