Abstract
Disaster are that agonizing event which resist the daily activities of a living society once it afflict the environment. To overcome this circumstances and put it back to the previous normal condition, is a big challenges for the relief logistic management. Just after the smite of disaster, the management authority focus on rescuing lives and tries to restricts demolition with the contribution of humanitarian aid. In such adversity, dispense of relief materials among the sufferer quickly is very necessitate. This paper brings a new bi-objective solid transportation plan for responding disaster within a few moment just after the attack with two objective functions minimization of total cost and transportation time. To manifest the effectiveness of designed transportation model, it is envision with the realistic data derived from Bihar flood, 2017. The problem is coded with LINGO 13.0 optimization solver. The bi-objective problem is solved by using weighted metric method. The model is efficient to response large scale disaster. © 2018 IEEE.
