Fuzzy sets and Intuitionistic Fuzzy sets (IFS) are very useful in giving a flexible model to deal vagueness and uncertainty in medical diagnosing problem. In this paper, two new techniques such as LFAM (Linguistic Fuzzy Associative Memories) and Linguistic Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets(LIFS) are proposed to analyze the T2DM (Type 2 Diabetes) as it is the second leading cause of death in the world. Here, LFAM gives the relation between the risk factors and T2DM disease and IFS helps to diagnose the victims of starting age group of T2DM. © Research India Publications.
