A low cost prototype for multiple access security system

Abstract
In older days security of a particular area was provided by security guard or by using some basic electronic locks. Which was unsecure and unreliable security system for particular areas like Home, Bank, Office, and Industries because any unauthorized person can easily take entry by main door or any windows and decimate the properties, humans, machines etc. Microcontroller-based embedded system play vital role in automation field. Today at most of the places like Server room, Control room, Prepaid Services, ATM, Bank, Industry, Office, Personal room, Home, Bank locker and many more places where employee or people want a reliable, unmanned, multilevel best security features for proper authentication. This paper presents a way to build and design a low-cost microcontroller based customizable prototype for Multiple Access Security System (MASS). This prototype provides the multiple security feature by using Keypad, RFID, Glass breaking sensor, NXP Microcontroller, Display, One Key Recovery feature, Separate key for Add new user and Delete exist user features. We can use either Keypad or RFID at a time for open the electronic lock if the user is authorized then Door is open automatically and after few second it’s close automatically and if the user is not a proper authorized user then buzzer start for long time for giving the message that some unauthorized user try to access. The best feature of this prototype is that user can enter the maximum 3 times wrong password by keypad or RFID card continuously after this security system are blocked at a couple of minutes and buzzer start automatically for long time, Glass breaking sensor is use for protecting the unauthorized entry by breaking the glass of the windows by giving a police siren. This paper is also describe the further implementation ideas on this prototype by increasing the security ways, including more feature and future scope of this paper and areas, where we can apply this project as a real time application by investing as much as low cost. © Research India Publications.
