Abstract
Now a days energy saving and energy utilization in a smart way become very common. Lot of methods and optimizations are undergoing in this area. The energy consuming consumers may do not require the energy in a particular time but they have to be performed in a preferred time. Rapid changes in the communication and computing capabilities make a great change in the smart grid and also the consumers and the buildings become smart. These tasks in the particular grid are coordinated among the consumers in an effective manner. Hence, all the consumers can concurrently use the energy and their various energy requirements will be satisfied. In this paper, all types of consumers are considered and their consuming power is calculated for a day. Here, two renewable sources are considered: wind energy and solar energy and the power generation for a day are calculated. The energy is equally distributed to the consumers so that the time and loss can be reduced. The peak demand of the grid is reduced by considering the peak demand charge. In this case small scale consumers and large scale consumers are also taken in to account. They are fairly scheduled in the peak and off peak time. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) and Fire Fly Algorithm (FFA) are considered and these optimization techniques are compared. © IAEME Publication.
