In this article, we used Diagonal optimal algorithm [2] to obtain optimal solution for intuitionistic fuzzy transportation problems. A ranking procedure based on combined arithmetic mean is used for ordering of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. To validate the given algorithm numerical example is given.
