Abstract
Cloud offers massive space for clients to store data and perform computations. Client data is stored in remote servers to avoid the local storage burden of clients. Security is one of the major concerns in the field of cloud computing. When data is stored in cloud, data owner loses physical control over it. and there is a problem of data security. Efficient algorithms should be used to increase data security in cloud. An effective model to ensure data security in cloud overcoming the limitations of existing models has been proposed. The proposed model uses the concept of Hyper Elliptic Curve Cryptography(HECC) to secure data and SHA-3 algorithm for verifying the integrity of data in cloud. The model is analyzed to guarantee data security in cloud. © Research India Publications.
