In this paper, a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) loaded with split ring resonator (SRR) excited with question-shaped microstrip feed for wideband circular polarization has been investigated. TE11δ mode has been excited and confirmed by rotation of E-field. The proposed antenna exhibits -10 dB impedance bandwidth of 25.74% and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 19.16% in the broadside direction. In addition, design antenna offers stable gain and radiation efficiency in working band. © 2016 IEEE.
