From decades the issue of energy optimization in Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) has been resolved using various technologies ranging from physical modification to the network nodes or sensors to the software solutions such as changes to routing protocol, dealing with various optimizations on the network parameters and so on. There were many protocols proposed to increase the lifetime of the sensor node and with this Wireless energy transfer (WET) has been considered a favorable technique for extending the lifetime of WSN. However energy conservation on the network is also achievable if we compress the data flow in the network, reduce communication overheads and wireless energy transfer. © 2006-2018 Asian Research Publishing Network (ARPN).
