The Possibilistic C-Means (PCM) has many advantages over Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) in loud situations,it has a great tendency to produce similar clusters. The fuzzy set handles overlapping partitions,the rough set handles instability,dubiousness,fragmentation,and incoherence in a class. The kernel handles linear separability of the clusters.
