Abstract
This paper present a tri band frequency selective surface (FSS) using square loop, ring loop and cross dipole structure on a single layer. The proposed FSS is used to reject the frequency bands of Wi-Fi and Amateur radio bands of 2.5GHz, 5GHz and 10.5GHz. The proposed FSS designed on a FR4 substrate having relative permittivity of 4.4 with a loss tangent of 0.025 having a thickness of 0.4mm. This FSS exhibits multi transmission zeros with a very high spurious response for both polarizations of different angles of incidence. The design procedure and simulations results are presented here. The proposed design is simulated using commercially available Ansys HFSS software. © 2017 IEEE.
