Abstract
Today there are many people in the world who are suffering from severe brain related illnesses. The physical state or condition of the patient can be assessed by analyzing his EEG data. Doctors thus feel a need to check on the EEG data of a patient from time to time. However, it is not feasible to either hospitalize the patient completely for the sake of the readings or to request frequent visits to check on data. This is where the proposed system comes into play. It provides a means for doctors to analyze the patient’s EEG data without direct interaction. The patient logs in to a system and using the required equipment allows the readings to be taken effectively. The obtained EEG data is then stored onto a database which is managed at the doctor’s end. The doctors can log into the database and view the data which is stored patient-wise. © 2014 Research India Publications.
