Radiologist’s use mammography as the most effective imaging modality for the screening of breast cancer. Breast cancer is one of the frequent forms of cancer for women. Breast cancer can be detected accurately with the segmentation of mammogram images. The goal of segmentation is to simplify and or change the representation of an image into something that is more meaningful and easier to analyze. Thus segmentation means separating an image into meaningful regions.
