Students have been through various phases in their life where in they have to make the toughest of choices which are going to have a huge role to play in shaping their future. The toughest of all is when they realize the lack of information regarding choice of course. This is potentially capable of destroying their life that occurs at the end of their higher secondary education. Due to lack of counseling from parents and the school, students make a wrong career choice, one which they will regret for the rest of their life. This study focuses on figuring out the major factors that influence student choices and the thought process that student should have in mind while making these choices. © IAEME Publication.
