Abstract
Every organization needs to improve their business process to enhance its productivity. Improving the business process needs lot of studies and experience to achieve expected goals, since organization cannot away from the knowledge acquiring process for long time. Required knowledge may be available in the form of tacit (eg: expert insight) and/or explicit (documentation, research journal etc). Capturing and sharing of knowledge are vital role of KMS. At the same time improper management of organizational knowledge can lead to serious loss in organization. Identification of Key Quality Dimensions (KQD) can helps to determine the quality of knowledge Management systems (KMS) to avoid huge loss of resources and time. Quality of KMS is integration of acquired quality in significant dimensions. This paper investigates the key quality dimensions based of KMS based on literature study of more than 150 research papers related to software engineering and knowledge engineering and Quality factors in each KQD are investigated through survey study. Finally rating and ranking of quality factors of each KQD based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) are also presented. Our future is to propose the success model with the integration of identified quality dimensions. The proposed framework helps to knowledge workers to build quality and effective/successful KMS. © 2017 Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.. All rights reserved.
