The Role of technology in research process is highly significant and inseparable as in day to day life of a person. Technology is the faithful assistant of a researcher from the first scratches to the last words of a research thesis. It made the research process easier, precise, objective, accurate and meaningful. The crucial and visible role of technology in a research process lies in the collection of existing literature, data collection, data analysis, data representation, thesis writing and arrangement. The present paper throws light into the unavoidable presence of technology in the process of literary survey through introducing databases, data collection tools like Google Forms and Qualtrics, Data Analysis software like SPSS and Atlas.t and software to assist referencing like Mendeley and EndNote in the background of educational researches. © 2019, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc..
