Uncertainty in data sets has been a common phenomena long since. Several uncertainty based models like interval mathematics,probability theory,fuzzy set,intuitionistic fuzzy set,rough sets and soft set are proposed in the literature till now. Also,there are several hybrid models which are obtained as a combination of these individual models. In this paper,we focus only those hybrid models which contain soft set as one of its component. Decision making is a common feature occurring in several areas of society including day to day life activities. Using soft set and its hybrid models several algorithms have been developed to deal with decision making. We present these approaches with critical analysis of their efficiencies.
