Abstract
NHAI is one of the most important PPP project undertaken in India. The National Highways connects India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Maharashtra to West Bengal. Twelve National Highways cross through Tamil Nadu, which has a total distance of 4462 Kms. From the stage of acquiring encumbrance land to the construction of NH, costs are incurred at various stages. The cost of one stretch of NH is different from the cost of another stretch of NH. Cost depends on number of factors like the over bridges, ROB, RUB and culverts, and also on the nature of elevations construction. Depending on the cost, basic toll rates are determined. In this paper analysis of Cost and Revenue are taken up for two stretches of NH 45. © Research India Publications.
