Abstract
The increase in websites and search engines has increased the probability of finding our desired products and services in distributed environment such as commercial, healthcare, military, government, automotive and entertainment. As a result, the web service providers have an effective recommendation system so that their clients will find their desired products or service at ease. In addition, web service is a new kind of module that can be accessed through the web, and it can be used as theprocess by composite network applications at run time. The more services are available, the more difficult it becomes to discover the most appropriate service for a specific application. As a non-functional requirement, quality of service (QoS) plays an essential value in the selection of services and commercial products. However, the distributed network environment and malicious operations generally impact the trustworthiness of web service and web products. This proposed work delivers a weighted prediction approach for calculating a trustworthy QoS value for both web service and products. This predicted value can then be used by the recommendation system to suggest services or products to their clients. Results of experiment shows the usefulness of the proposed prediction approach compared to the existing. © 2016, International Journal of Pharmacy and Technology. All rights reserved.
