in (his study, a scries of 2-chloro-<|ulnollnc-3-carbaIdehydcs (lu-g) and (2-chloro-qultiolln-3-yl)-Miethaiiols <2a- g) were tested for their antidermatophytic studies against four species of dermatophytes : T. rub rum, E. flotcosum, T. iuenlagrophyits and M. gypseum by well diffusion method. Compounds Ic. lc and 2a showed good activity where us compound 2d exhibit moderate activity when compared with that of standard fluconazole. © 2015 Scientific Publishers. All Rights Reserved.
