Inductive power transfer (IPT) technique is emerging since the inception of this technology. This technology is widely used for near field power transfer methods. In this paper, a dedicated control strategy is proposed for the LCL based IPT system. This includes the estimation of mutual inductance as well as the selection operating frequency. An outer resonance control and inner current control has been employed over the system to give the desired output response. The proposed control strategy has been validated by the simulation and experimental studies. The results are substantiated to validate the notion about the theoretical findings. © 2019 IEEE.
