Abstract
Hybrid metal matrix composite (HMMC) are mostly used in automobile and aerospace industries due to its light weight and strength. In this research, Al 6061 used as a matrix and Al2O3 as reinforcement produced by squeeze casting technique. The reinforcement particles were mixed into the molten aluminium matrix by a mechanical stirrer and composite mixture cast by applying different pressure using a hydraulic press. The specimens were prepared by ASTM method and investigated the microstructural and mechanical properties of the HMMC with varying squeeze pressure. © 2019, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.
