In this study, we proposed signal processing and analysis framework for Electroencephalogram (EEG) and compared EEG signals collected from two subjects, one collected from a healthy, normal person while the other set of data was collected from epileptic patient. In this work, signals were preprocessed and decomposed by using discrete wavelet transform. Statistical parameters like entropy and power were computed and it will be used if we classify the signals. This suggested method can be used for epilepsy diagnosis purpose in hospitals. © Research India Publications.
