In this paper a study of contextual analysis and information retrieval is made by matching different user profiles based on their context along with matching their query and requirements that is beneficial for enhancing the ranking of web databases. A comparison of three different search types (query-similarity, user-similarity, user-profile similarity) has been evaluated and considered for final efficient ranking and a comparative study is made. © Research India Publications.
