Cosmological models with constant deceleration parameter in Nordtvedt's theory, a general scalar-tensor theory, in the presence of creation of matter have been discussed. We have presented the modified field equations of Nordtvedt's theory in the presence of particle creation. Exact solutions have been obtained for a spatially flat FRW model by keeping the deceleration parameter constant and making an appropriate choice for the rate of creation of particles. We have particularly focused on the accelerated expansion of the Universe driven by the creation of matter.
