The phenomenal growth that has been evidently seen in the last two decades has brought a multifold development in the process industry. The experts have always focused upon the control of t he level and other process parameters. In this study we have chosen a real time Single Spherical Tank Liquid Level System (SSTLLS) for our investigation. The aim of this study is to compare the design and implementation of different PI controllers for the SSTLLS using Lab VIEW and NI-DAQmx 6211 data acquisition card. The real time model identification and Graphical User Interface (GUI) are discussed and their PI controller implementation using Lab VIEW are outlined. © 2015 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
