Developing a PDA to control device using proposed algorithm

Technology today is developing at a rapid rate. People want control of things on their hands and they want to do it like doing any other normal tasks. This paper will focus on creating a PDA i e., 'Personal Digital Assistant' that will control electronic and electrical devices in our home such as lights, TV, AC, fans, Doors etc. with just voice commands using NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Raspberry Pi microcontroller. The product will have speech recognition ability so that we can interact with it like we do with a human being. Artificial Intelligence technologies such as Natural Language Processing and Speech Recognition will make it more efficient and user-friendly. The functions of the personal digital assistant will roughly comprise of controlling lights, doors, fans, AC, TV and other possible devices. It will also play music on command, shutting down your laptop when you forgot to do so, open apps on your mobile/laptop, Read documents for you and more. This could help make life a whole lot easier for customers of the product. © 2017 IEEE.
