The proposed work is an attempt to design a wireless system that could help change the state of the device for ex., T.V sets, fan, coolers, tube lights, etc. i.e., to turn them off if they are in ON state or vice versa may be true depending upon the need for it or not. This is done by using monitoring heartbeat because when a person falls asleep heartbeat falls below 55 bpm which actually may differ for different ages of people. So basically Atmega microcontroller will be used to process the input and take required action on both the sides i.e., for calculating heartbeat pulses and triggering the relays for changing the state. The Xbee module will be used to setup the wireless communication between heartbeat and relay circuit. So it can be very useful tool to bring down the electricity losses that happen all the time.
