In an age where data security and encryption is the highest priority in any kind of data communication, domain name services (DNS) are still vulnerable to various kinds of threats and attacks since domain names are still communicated in plaintext. Most of the attacks take place in the Top Level Domains (TLDs) that controls the DNS system.
