Abstract
The complexity of change impact analysis often lies in the number of classes that are considered in change impact analysis process. Our approach suggests that we introduce code generation that will help in eliminating a set of classes not required to be included in the impact analysis process. Here in this paper we focus on the MVC pattern type of projects, this work focus on an idea to overcome the impact caused over by the change in thoroughly generating the model component and partially generating the view component and sticking with the traditional process over the controller component. In a Model View Control system all model classes can be generated using automation tools as they are always well defined. Each model class is directly related to a table in the back-end and the operations performed in model classes are only limited to Create Read Update and Delete processes also called as CRUD. The proposed approach is evaluated by taking three projects into consideration which have different levels of complexity. The mathematical and graphical representation of the efficiency achieved by our approach is clearly evident over traditional way of approach. © 2018, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc..
