Abstract
Reinforcement corrosion is consideredas one of the major cause of deterioration of reinforced concrete structure all around the globe and one of the major problems confronted by the civil engineers. Keeping in mind the end goal to limit the negative effect of rebar corrosion different research and repairing procedures have been introduced over the period. In this paper, mainly three methodologies (Embedded steel, Contact Pressure, Friction) are hereintroduced and used in order to reproduce the effect of rebar corrosion on the flexural strength of RCC beam using plasticity damage model with the help of ABAQUS/Standard FEA package. © IAEME Publication.
