DC-DC converters used in automotive applications are subjected to high temperatures. In this paper, the output voltage of a LCC resonant tank based DC-DC converter is studied under various temperatures. Simulation model of the power semiconductor switches and components at various temperatures have been developed. Based on the simulation results, it is found that the voltage regulation of the chosen converter is well within acceptable limits. Experimental results show that the converter operates satisfactorily at about 90% efficiency. © 2011 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All righs reserved.
