Encapsulation of the most potent combination of staphylokinase and Leucasaspera plant extract was done using chitosan nanoparticles. Chitosan is a biodegradable and non-toxic polysaccharide that can act as a drug carrier. Chitosan nanoparticles were prepared based on the ionic gelation of chitosan with tripolyphosphate(TPP) anions.
