Most of the scheduling algorithms were concentrated on scheduling of the packets. In Dynamic Multilevel Priority (DMP)[4] packet delivery scheme the packets were scheduled in three priority queue pr1, pr2, pr3 respectively. In this scheme, pr1 is scheduled in FCFS, pr2 is scheduled as non-real time with remote data and pr3 is also non-real time with local data. Here starvation will occur in pr1 because of the FCFS queue. The remedy for this problem is done by proposing a novel Enhanced DMP Based Scheduling Algorithm (EDMP). Thus the QoS and packet guarantee ratio gets improved. © 2015 IEEE.
