Flow and heat transfer of Williamson fluid over a cone and wedge with magnetic field

Abstract
An analytical analysis has been carried out to study the MHD flow and heat transfer of Williamson fluid over a cone and wedge with heat source/sink. The governing equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations by using similarity variables. The analytical solutions of the transformed governing equations are obtained by using homotopy analysis method. The effects of various physical parameters such as Hartmann number, local Williamson parameter, local Grashof number and heat source/sink parameters on velocity, temperature skin friction and heat transfer rate have been discussed in detail. Further, a comparative study has been performed with earlier works that are reported in the literature. The comparison shows that the results are in excellent agreement. © 2017 Author(s).
