Security is the term which has the most significance in today’s era. Technology has been proffering solutions for any kind of prevention in almost every domain such as banking,cyber security,home security and a like. Traditional home security systems usually made use of sensors mounted on doors,walls or windows with accessing features like alarms or home monitoring mainly focused on perimeter of home. Almost every existing security systems are pretty hard to install,use and quite impossible to take with while moving. This paper proposes a smart security system based on Physical Computing with the use of Arduino microcontroller,HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor and Sonar technique. The sensor gets rotated to different angles via Servo motor and the near-by objects are sensed by the sensor. The proposed system gets connected to monitor via USB cable and hence,the distance data stream comes out from the sensor and gets displayed on the screen so as to get an idea which way and how far the object or the intruder is. The system provides an absolute smart security towards preventing unwanted or unauthorized access.
