An Issue Tracking System (ITS) is a web-based tool that organizes and perpetuates list of issues, as needed by an organization. It also restrains a knowledge base, containing information for resolutions to each project team's common problems. Penetration of the contemporary tools and techniques of an Issue tracking system using cloud is an emerging trend. There is an increasing interest in Issue Tracking Systems based on cloud computing architecture for providing the resources on the demand basis. This system will be owned by a Company, to serve for their teams. It will incorporate all requirements needed for the interaction between Project team and IT support team and get the project team members problems solved. In this paper we develop and deploy an Issue Tracking System in private cloud using open source technologies like Eucalyptus, VMware. The cloud computing architecture for this system helps to achieve scalability, persistent storage, distributed access, efficient resource usage and interoperability of the system objects. © Research India Publications.
