Influence of fuel on phase formation of ZnFe2O4 prepared by self-propagated combustion route

Chromium substituted cobalt ferrite (CoFe2-xCrxO4) nanoparticles were prepared by smouldering combustion route. Substitution of Chromium ions plays a major role on particle size, surface morphology and magnetic behaviour of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. The prepared material of chromium substituted cobalt ferrite nanoparticles were characterized by powder XRD, Raman, FE-SEM and VSM. © 2016 Author(s).
