Abstract
This paper evaluates the loading effect of a three phase inverter fed series resonance circuit on an asynchronous generator (ASG). The effect of current drawn by the resonance circuit on the input side of the uncontrolled rectifier has been investigated experimentally. The result shows the improvement in power factor of the current at PCC. This technique is used to regulate the generator voltage. © 2009 IEEE.
