Abstract
Advancement in medical devices and communication technologies has allowed transmission of medical information using wireless body sensor networks. One of the severe challenges to smart healthcare is that patient's data is sensitive, so its secure transmission is important. This paper aims to discuss secure and safe communications in smart and connected healthcare. © 2012 IEEE.
