We give some fixed point results for one and two mappings satisfying an implicit relation involving control function on ordered complete metric spaces. We furnish suitable examples to demonstrate the validity of the hypotheses of our results. We also give an application of our results to nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations. © 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
