Abstract
In this research work we intend to obtain for the first time a prototype of a wrist-type remote monitoring system will be obtained for the detection of vital signs and measurement of glucose by methods non-invasive devices with a competitive data and communication system in the specialized market in the area medical Count on sensors with competitive accuracy. Have an integral system of communication between the bracelet and the web platform, which will allow the user/doctor through a mobile application, know the current state of health, store the data collected and by means of artificial intelligence algorithms in the platform, you can detect behavior patterns, perform regressions to estimate data or predict irrigation situations, among other aspects. For adequate control of diabetes mellitus, it is necessary to carry out a constant monitoring of blood glucose level. Recent studies the necessity to explore alternatives to the digital glucometer technique, based on the fact that the pain and discomfort generated in the user when extracting the blood sample, has become a barrier that compromises the proper control of the disease. Various efforts in the development of noninvasive optical techniques for the glucose measurement have been attempted by several research groups, from which infrared spectroscopy stands out. Although their results had been satisfactory, they are not conclusive due to the lack of biochemical and physiological approaches in these studies. This entails to propose a strategy with an interdisciplinary approach in order to analyze in detail the interaction between light and glucose. From where the feasibility of this technique can be determined to solve the problem of spectroscopic non-invasive blood glucose quantification and explore the development of innovative tools for both, health facilitators and for users. © 2018 American Scientific Publishers
