In this paper, the 68W/20V permanent magnet synchronous generator for aircraft application is discussed at the speed of 9000rpm. The electromagnetic and thermal analyses of the machine are carried out using the software of finite element analysis (FEA). Finally, the overall performance such as Electromagnetic flux, voltage, current and Temperature of the analytically designed machine is compared with the results obtained from simulation and hardware analysis. © 2017 The Authors.
