Atpresent, multilevel voltage source inverters (VSI) are very attractive in the application of high voltage dc to ac conversion especially for industrial drives. This paper presents Total Harmonic distortion (THD) of9-level inverter output with different PWM control techniques. It is tested with a single phase induction motor driveapplication by computer simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK software for the carrier frequency of 2kHz with modulation index of one. © Research India Publications.
