Abstract
A country's development and its future are completely dependent on its policies. Policy making is an indirect way of communication between the people and the government. But unlike in developed countries, public policy-making in developing countries has frequently been characterized by a failure to anticipate the needs of the people. One of the main reasons being, there isn’t a proper system for assessing a particular policy before it is to be executed. In India, which is a land of diversity with diverse climatic differences and resources, where almost all religions of the world are dwelling within the territory, the process of policy making and assessment is been done by a group of people manually under every sector. So, this paper aims to design a proper system and a stable architecture for assessing a policy by using advanced text classifiers and adopting the topic extraction architecture using NLTK, thereby contributing the government to help address the issues like inequality, imbalance in growth, conflicts, Unemployment, poverty etc in a more systematic and efficient manner. © Research India Publications.
