Abstract

in the past few decades, tremendous emphasis has been placed on the importance of incorporating better designs for road vehicles. Not only has this been done with regard to the shape of the overall body of the vehicle, the various components and features of the vehicle which lead to undesirable effects have undergone a lot of redesigning. 1 As the need for fuel saving increases by the day, there has been a lot of focus on modifying certain features on road vehicles in order to alleviate this problem. By re-designing various components such as rear-view mirrors, the wheels, door handles and antennas, progress has been made in reducing the overall drag coefficient of road vehicles which thereby reduce the amount of fuel consumed in order to traverse the same distance at the same
