Abstract
This article presents a power conversion system for novel hybrid renewable power generation scheme with analysis and control of the whole system. In the projected work, a grid-tied power system is employed at first to change the lesser DC input into greater output DC voltage then by converting DC output into AC voltage and linked with grid to run it as a grid-tied system. The production of energy is enriched by adopting multi-input boost power converter, which is coupled with Photovoltaic cell (PV), FC, wind and battery as a storage element. Soft switching procedure is employed for this converter to reduce switching losses. In this Voltage Source Inverter (VSI)using space vector modulation method based on the field programmable logic array is utilized to diminish the lower order harmonics associated in an output of inverter. Management of this output AC voltage with main utility is also accomplished. The results are proved and confirmed in MATLAB/ Simulink software. A hardware implementation of proposed VSI is done to experimentally validate the proposed system effectiveness using Xilinx XCS500E Spartan 3E FPGA board. This power conditioning scheme is used in bio-medical applications. © 2016, International Journal of Pharmacy and Technology. All rights reserved.
