Construction industries in these days are giving more importance to precast concrete to reduce the construction time. Precast concrete elements can be made by accelerating the hydration process in high early strength concrete (HESC). In this paper we analyzed different methods to achieve high early strength concrete. A detailed review on achieving the high early strength in concrete are discussed and it also explains the strength behavior of pozzolona in high early strength concrete. © 2017 IAEME Publication.
