Abstract

A regular lifestyle of the 21 st Century is a very hurried one. People struggle to find time for themselves and taking care of their general health. Neglecting health issues, postponing treatments, and self-diagnosis are common among people nowadays, and their ill effects are not widely known. People administer medicines to treat their health issues on their own, without consulting a physician. In order to combat the problem, an idea was proposed to develop a medical database for patients that can be accessed by a doctor from anywhere around the world. The database contains information regarding the drug(s) prescribed to the patient. It also contains information about sensitive drugs and specific allergies related to the patient, in addition to the record of the prescription history of the patient. Personalized Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) cards ensure the security of the system as it contains different IDs for different users which could only be altered by the concerned doctor using the medical database, thus authenticating the medical information of the patient. The product van be used all around the world assisting more than 70% of the population.
