RTD-A is one of the new control schemes that substitutes PID controller. It has four tuning parameters which describes the controller characteristics. As compared to PID controller the RTD-A is more transparent about tuning parameters. RTD-A tuning parameters are constrained for simplicity. It is the basic need to design the tool which enables user to deal with RTD-A scheme. This paper introduces toolbox which has basic facilities to deal with RTD-A control scheme. It also includes case study where the toolbox is implemented on two tank liquid level process and pressure control process. The effect of controller tuning parameters on plant output is illustrated with simulations results. © 2017 IEEE.
